How to have a great party at The Makery
Step 1: Consult with us to decide on project (contact info).
Projects are custom tailored to guest of honor’s intrests.
Step 2: We design a set of instructions tailored to your party.
Step 3: We take the group through a step by step instructional
at the time of the party. Each guest gets their own project
to work on.
Step 4: Everyone gets to take home their masterpiece in a box
with their name on it. This alleviates the necessity of grab bags.

Pricing per partier
$12 = 4 cookies or 4 cupcakes plus one tube of icing and a cup
of sprinkles. Stick on decorations can be added at their cost.
Takes about 1/2 hour.
$16 = base price for a 6 inch round cake (comes filled and frosted)
one tube of icing and a cup of sprinkles. Takes about 1 hour.
$18 = 2 layer 6 inch round cake (comes filled and frosted) one tube
of icing and a cup of sprinkles. Takes about 1 hour.
$20 = 8 inch 2 layer cake or 8 inch with 6 inch stacked on top,
fondant décor, one tube of icing and a cup of sprinkles. Takes
about 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
Note: Items such as fondant, extra frosting, intricacy of
decoration, gluten free, carved cake shapes, stick on
decorations, etc. increase the price.

Teacher and room price
There is also a $20/hr teacher and room rental cost. The decorating
usually lasts about an hour. You are welcome to bring in pizza
and do the gifts, etc. here so that you don’t have to travel all
over town with the whole gang. The minimum party size is 6
partiers and the maximum is 14.

The Party can come to you for $1.50 per mile round trip Plus $1
per person extra. $20/hr teacher fee applies.

What's the difference between parties and classes?
Parties (Minimum of 6 partiers)
- Tables reserved just for your party
- Must book 7 days in advance
- Party can be at a location other than The Makery for a small travel/tool schlepping rate
- Dedicated instructor to guide you through the techniques
- 1-2 hour duration ($20/hour for teacher and room rental)
- Project cake/cupcakes/cookies (your choice) included
- Icing and in store use of tools are included
- Your choice of several fun projects
- You may bring in dinner/potluck at your discretion
- You take home a one of a kind, proudly made by you, yummy dessert
Classes
- Tables will be full of many people you don't know... yet
- Must register 24 hours in advance
- Limited availability (may not be able to fit all your party if prior registration isn't confirmed)
- Cake to decorate is NOT included, but may be purchased
- Icing and in store use of tools for class are included
- Set curriculum for the class
- 2 hour duration. When the class is complete, you are welcome to stay until closing, but the teacher is done.
- You may bring in dinner for yourself
- You may come with nothing, and leave with nothing (but knowledge and a sense of accomplishment)
- $12 per person
