Hello! I’m getting married on July 28th in Breckenridge… can you tell me the delivery charge?

    Thanks!

  2. Is pricing the same for cupcakes?

    Hi,

We would like to know the price of a simple “cutting cake” one that is primarily decorative. Is this an option you have?

    Thanks!

    Josh

    • Hi Josh,

We do these all the time, and is often referred to as a “ceremonial” cake. Our starting price is $5 per serving for buttercream designs, and $6 for fondant. Next you’ll have to decide how big (or small) it will be, etc. We have foam we can put together for you to get a visual. Speaking of.. we can also incorporate foam into the design to make it appear bigger as well.

If you would just like to come taste cake, we have free and open wedding tastings every Sunday from 1-3pm. If you are ready, you can also set up your consultation where we talk specifics and pricing by calling 720.270.4042.

      All the best,
      Dez

We are getting married at Mary’s Lake Lodge in Estes Park, CO. Can you tell me your delivery charge?

    Thanks!
    Jessi

    • Hi Jessi,

We have special rates for people having receptions so far away. It gets a little exorbitant at our standard $4 per mile. If your bridal cake is over 100 servings, we can offer you delivery at $160.

I’m looking to get a groom’s cake for my fiance at our wedding for under $100. I’m hoping to get a cake that looks like a can of mountain dew.

Could you do this? and for how much?

    Thanks

    • Hi Leah – unfortunately due to the amount of artwork this cake requires, it would not be under $100. We are more than happy to work with you if you are interested, please give us a call at 720-270-4042 Thank you!

Hello, how much would a cupcake tower cost? We are looking for approximately 120 cakes in total? do you have the stands for hire too?

    Thanks

    • Hi Charlotte,
Cupcakes for weddings are so popular these days, aren’t they? Cupcakes start at $22.50/dozen, the stand rental is $55, the top cake (if you want it) starts at $5/serving, delivery (if you want it) is $2/mile with a $30 set up fee. So 120 cupcakes and the stand would start at $280. The flavors with the* by them on our menu, and certain designs might cost a little more.
      Thanks so much,

I am getting married in about 5 weeks, sept 2, and I am looking at doing small 2-tier cakes on each table each with a different design. There will be 11 tables of with 8 people at each table. Then i would like to do a 12th cake the same size as the 11, for the grooms cake. and a slightly larger cake for the Head table. So 13 cakes in all.
The below picture link shows what i have in mind.
    http://www.carriescakes.com/images/cakes/959-07_centerpiece_table_cakes_resized.jpg

Is this possible and what would I be looking at for cost?

    Thanks!
    Deborah

    • Hi Carrie,

What a cute idea! Do you want these designs on the cakes, or did you want them all to match? Also, did you want fondant on the cakes? Individual cakes for each table is usually very pricy. When we get a few more details on desing, we can price it out for you.

      All the best,

  10. Hello,
I am having a party in a few weeks for my birthday. I was looking at some of the more casual wedding cakes, that don’t necessarily look like wedding cakes, and I like them. I was just wondering how much a 2 or 3 tier cake would be if I needed to feed 60 people?

  11. Hello-

I’m interested in doing a Deserts Table, then a small ceremonial cake that we can do the cake cut! Only thing is my guest list is close to 400! Have you done a desert table for that many? and would it be more cost efficient for me to just do a large cake? My Wedding is going to be next fall!

    • Hi Lauren,

We have done many dessert bars. You probably want to account for 2-3 “bites” per person. We have done mini cookies, mini cupcakes, brownies, mini tarts, dipped pretzels, dipped strawberries, etc. Dessert bars usually book at about $7.50/person with us. Our wedding cakes start at $5/serving, but depending upon design can go up from there. The best thing to do is to get a photo of several cakes you like, and head in for a tasting and consultation. We also do free and open tastings every Sunday from 1-3pm. Just stop on in.

    Hello,
I was wondering what a 3 tier wedding cake would be. I am buying the cake for my cousin and the bottom tier would need to be chocolate vegan. The other 2 layers can be a regular white with buttercream icing in the middle. It would be fondant covered with a very simple design.
Would you be able to throw a price at me?
    Thank you so much!

  13. Hi-

I am wanting to do a cake pop or cake ball tower for my wedding cake. Have you ever done cake pops before and is this something you would be willing to do? How much would it be per cake ball? I am planning on 120 people and I would estimate 2-3 cake pops per person. Thanks.

  14. Do you have a military discount? My fiance and I live out of state and will probably not be able to make it back to taste; what would you suggest to determine what flavors we would want?

    • Hi Carly,

We absolutely appreciate our military!! And thank you for keeping our country safe!

We offer a 10% military discount. I wouldn’t worry too much about flavors. Our 4 most popular are our grandma Mavis’s Chocolate Cake, Pink Champagne, White Chocolate Wonderland, and red velvet. Any combo of those is sure to be a crowd pleaser! Do you have any photos of cakes that you like and how many people are coming? I guess I should ask you where and when your reception is…?

      All the best,
      dez

      • That sounds great! I haven’t settled on a cake design, but am interested in having a “mountain” type of texture to the background of a relatively simple cake with white frosting, or a cake with a ribbon at the base and the triplets of dots. We will be having ~200 people, and are interested in having a small 1-2 layer cake for the groom and I and cake pops/cupcakes for our guests to enjoy. Our reception would be in the mountains but we would be picking up the cake ourselves, and the wedding is July 6.

        Thank you!

        • Hi Carly,
Fantastic. That is doable. Can you elaborate a little more on the “mountain type of texture” and how it will mesh with the ribbon and triplets of dots? Are you meaning just not smooth, and more stucko-ish or are we piping layers of mountains on the cake and putting triplets in the “sky?” Thanks for the clarification.

  15. Hello!

My wedding venue is in the mountains, 39 miles from your shop. Is the charge $4 for every mile over 30 miles? Or would you charge $4/mile for all 39 miles? Is the charge one-way, or would I need to factor in round-trip? Thanks! :)

    • Hi Megan,

If your wedding cake serves more than 100, the first 30 miles would be free. If it is less, your delivery would be $4 x 39, but most brides in that situation opt for the delivery “system,” which is a fail safe packaging system that we pack the wedding cake in for pick up. We haven’t had it fail yet and cakes arrive to Aspen safe and sound all the time.

At your consultation, we can go over pricing and delivery scenarios for you to get the most economical rate, and best fit for you.

  16. We are getting married at the Crystal Rose near Highlans Ranch and wondering how much would the delievery fee would be.

    • HI Ali,

Crystal Rose Highlands Ranch is only 4 miles away. If your wedding cake serves 100 or more, it is free. If smaller, the delivery is only $16.

  17. Hi, I am getting married in denver area or colorado springs, I was wondering if there were various designs of your cupcakes? I will be in colorado next weekend and would be interested in purchasing a cake! thanks

    • Hi Gabby,

We are working on a cupcake book that holds designs we have done. However, you aren’t limited to those. We can do just about anything with a cupcake. We’ll be looking forward to meeting you!

    Hi
I am getting married this November in Castle Rock. My guest list is looking at about 50 people. I was wanting a cake that looks large (the Styrofoam idea) but only having a few of the tiers be actual cake. The design I am looking for is something with autumn leaves, something really pretty. Is this doable?

    Thanks,
    Jordan

    • Hi Jordan,

This is absolutely doable. Many brides choose to get a more grand wedding cake that way. Have you been in for one of our free and open wedding cake tastings on Sunday from 1-3pm? It’s a great place to start!

Is the pricing the same for sheet cake(s)?

    • Hi Carissa,

No, sheet cakes aren’t layered nor stacked, and are usually in the back with the caterer. They are usually much cheaper, but are not a bridal cake and are not subject to all the perks of ordering a wedding cake such as free delivery.

Hi, I was wondering if you guys would be able to make a zombie head wearing a Navy Chief’s hat. Maybe for 30-40 servings. I would also like to know how much this would be total…thank you for your time!

    • Hi Michelle,

It’s funny, things like this don’t surprise me anymore : ) Sounds like a lot of fun! We would want to do this in fondant for the best results. I did quite a few zombies at Halloween this year. It would be about $200 laying down and $400 for 3D standing up.

  21. Hello! I saw your cake design on pinterest, and I LOVE IT OMG. I would love for you to do my wedding cake JUST like this (with the cupcakes and all). Here is the picture I found http://www.confettidaydreams.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Vintage-Woodlands-Wedding-Inspiration-21.jpg Only thing is, the wedding will be in Medford, Oregon… Is this going to be possible or should I look elsewhere? I am in love with it! cegipson@hotmail

    • Hello there,

Thanks so very much. We really loved this cake as well. Your best option is to take the photo to a bakery in Medford. If you can’t find anyone to do it, we can make the flowers and ship them to you. Those should travel just fine. Then someone there could make your cake and add the flowers.

    Hi,
I came to a tasting today and I am very interested in cake 121 in the wedding cake gallery, (the one with cupcakes and the strawberry bride and groom), can you give me an approx price estimate if it were ordered much like the photo? Thank you.

    • Hi Nicholle,
Thanks for coming in! I don’t know how many cupcakes you need, or where they are going so I’ll itemize. Cupcakes themselves are $22.50/dozen. The strawberries on top are $2 each striped with chocolate. The Bride and Groom strawberries are $8 each. The small 3 tier is $75. The stand in the photo rents for $35, and the bigger one is $55. Set up is $30 and delivery is $2 per mile.

    Hi,
I am interested in having you do my wedding cake. I am thinking about doing cupcakes for all my guests and maybe a small 4 serving “cutting” cake. I would prefer simple with maybe just a touch of Orchids as a design. Would this be doable? I am expecting maybe 50 guests and the reception will be held at my home in Morrison.
