What’s going to happen if I book my cake with you, and I need to cancel my wedding/party due to no one coming due to COVID-19?

That is the question, isn’t it? We definitely want to come at this with love and grace, but still honor our business in the process. We want to still be here in the future to service all of those clients that support us with their business. I was just chatting with the rest of the board of The National Association of Catering and Events and what are best practices. After taking their input into account, as well as our own experiences, we have come up with this policy:

COVID-19 Peace of Mind Policy for The Makery Cake Co in Denver:

If you are currently booked with us and wish to reschedule/downsize/cancel your order with us, you will be offered full credit for any money paid to us in the form of store credit. This credit can be used on any products/services we offer in the future. You may use the credit for multiple purchases at their current market value.

Reserve your wedding cake sample box

Rest assured that our staff is compliant with any and all Tri-County Health Department policies for COVID-19.

Should you wait to book us to “see what happens” with COVID-19?

I would recommend not waiting. If you have to reschedule, then reschedule when that time comes. Don’t miss out on getting us for your event. We are very close to being sold out for many dates in 2020.

We will be doing these via zoom and scheduling pick ups of samples or you can order them to be delivered on Grub Hub.

However, if you are still hesitant about going out in public we can always do the consultation over the phone or through e-mail, just give us a call and let us know!!!
