Job Summary

 

Coordinates activities involved with customer service and operations of bakery products

 

by performing the following duties personally or through team members. Demonstrates

 

the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job effectively and efficiently.

 

Produces the quantity and quality of work required for this position. Sets priorities,

 

organizes work efficiently and effectively.

 

Job Duties

 

• Keeps the front part of the bakery clean and clear of clutter

 

• Answers phones, checks voicemail, returns phone calls and responds to emails

 

in a timely manner

 

• May provide consultations for wedding cakes, with correct training and

 

experience

 

• Assists with cleaning of the bakery

 

• Assists with DIY groups

 

• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

• Very strong attention to detail

 

• Organized and efficient

 

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

 

• Wedding cake and/or bakery experience a plus

 

• Quick Books experience a plus

 

We are a high end bakery that makes mostly custom birthday cakes and wedding

 

cakes. We also offer cake decorating parties and wedding consultations. Please email

Compensation: $8 per hour to start, with the strong possibility of moving up, making

 

more and taking on more responsibility as the business grows and you demonstrate

 

your abilities.
