White Wedding Cake

The other day, this song came on, and I had never really listened to the lyrics. But I was in a wedding mindset and listened closely. I wondered just how many wedding cakes we have done that were inspired by music. Quite a few, actually since 2006.

It was a top song in 1982 by Billy Idol and truly entertaining. Check out the link if you’ve no idea who Billy Idol is.

A white wedding cake is not only one of the most traditional wedding cakes, and it still remains the most popular design today.

The lyrics are open to interpretation, but to me, they mean starting to live anew with your hero:

Hey little sister, what have you done?
Hey little sister, who’s the only one?
Hey little sister, who’s your Superman?
Hey little sister, who’s the one you want?
Hey little sister, shotgun

If you and you’re “soon-to-be” spouse have a special song… let us work it into your white wedding cake design! You know, make a wedding cake that will sing to your heart!

Wedding Cake Customization:

If you look closely at the bottom of the cake above you’ll find 2 ornate dragons. Many people customize their cakes to reflect something highly personal. And that’s what makes a custom wedding cake truly and undeniably custom. Your wedding cake should be like no other. It’s your wedding and we are here to help you make it truly a reflection of you.
