“What’s your per serving price?”

People have often asked us, what is the “per serving price” for your wedding cakes? The answer isn’t straight as there are some fixed costs and variable costs depending upon what options are right for our couples. You’ll find that pricing wedding cakes (in Denver) is done differently at every bakery. Also, no couple really wants the same cake, design, or flavors, nor are they getting married at the same venue, etc. It’s pretty complicated, but the good news is you don’t have to memorize all the rules in wedding cake pricing, and that is what we are here for!

We have 2 pricing options:

The Package Price and A la Carte Pricing

We bundled our most popular services into the wedding cake package so that we could do away with nickel and diming (a la carte). It gives our couples an overall better experience. Imagine being told that the price would be XYZ, then you show up and every little item is tacked onto the wedding cake price… Like, “Oh, you wanted frosting??? You wanted it stacked up into tiers? Oh, you wanted delivery? Well, that’ll cost you.” NO!! It’s enough to make your blood pressure rise and you feel like you’re buying a used car! UGG! It’s not fun! Our package saves you that pain and it’s cheaper than the a la carte.

Wedding Cake Package

We set our package pricing based on a handful of options our couples really appreciate (like delivery). However, some couples are on such a tight budget, that forgoing some options is a better scenario and a more budget-conscious wedding cake is optimal. So, we offer a la carte pricing as well. I promise I’ll explain both.

What’s in our Wedding Cake Package:

Cutting the 2 layers of cake open and adding fillings – 1 filling vs 3-
- This makes the overall presentation and flavor of the wedding cake so much more impressive…as a wedding cake should be!

Any flavor configuration (one tier choc and the other pink champagne, or both in one tier)
Premium menu ) –
- We know you want the pink champagne cake or the chocolate cookie dough, and you shouldn’t have to sweat over the difference
Delivery within 30 miles
- You didn’t really want to pick up your wedding cake on your wedding day… did you?
And the design session fee
- This credit’s toward the wedding cake package purchase. If you do a la carte pricing, it does not credit as it is a fee for tasting samples on top of the birthday cake price.
Freshly baked anniversary cake
- You didn’t really want to store and eat freezer-burnt cake, did you?
Honeymoon cake
- We started this because our couples kept saying they never got any of their wedding cake. It’s a little romantic cake that has forks stuck to the side of the box and you take it with you to your hotel room.
